How to Register
NOBLE TRAILS, INC. IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE REGISTRATION PERIOD FOR THE 2023 FISHING LINE TRAIL 5K RUN/WALK IS NOW OPEN.
The 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, with registration and check-in opening at 7:30 am, and the race starting at 9:00 am. Walkers will leave immediately following the runners.
The race will begin at the Gene Stratton Porter State Historic Site in Rome City. Duplicating previous races, the route follows a section of local roads before entering the Fishing Line Trail. The race then travels back to the finish line at Gene Stratton Porter.
And, in case your feet grow weary, Noble Trails will make the rounds to pick up those who need a break.
Awards will be given for the first three overall male and female runners. Sorry, but shirts are no longer available after April 13, 2023.
GREAT NEWS FOR FAMILIES! With the combined support of an anonymous trails benefactor and BZ Automotive Group, we want to help assure that families have a little bit of help. So, we have received an offer from these two benefactors to help cover the registration costs of all children under 18. So, children's registration are free, with the entire balance covered by our two gratious trail supporter.
All adult registrations will be $35. Please pre-registration online. All proceeds go to the development of more sections of the Fishing Line Trail. Previous years' proceeds made an impact in helping Noble Trails develop more trail. With your help, we've been able to construct some key sections of trail to connect Rome City and Kendallville. Now, it's on to Wolcoltville and Avilla!

If you wish to volunteer, we can find a way to use your skills. And while you won't be able to walk in the race itself, we will have things for you do keep busy while the participants are on the trail. But, you will receive a volunteer tee shirt the day of the event! We will contact you to find out how you desire to help, and to see how we can benefit from your presence.
