Double Your Money to Noble Trails!

Noble Trails has built 8 ½ miles of the Fishing Line Trail so far, but we’re not stopping there! This fall, we are linking the trail which will eliminate the dangerous ½ mile stretch of county roadway from 800N (Rimmell Road) to 450E that walkers, runners and cyclists needed to follow to continue on the Fishing Line Trail.

YOU CAN HELP!

Noble Trails has launched a fundraising campaign on August 25th. This CreatINg Places campaign has a matching grant opportunity from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. This allows your donation to go further with a 1:1 match. But we have to hit our goal of $35,000 first!

Anytime from now through October 6, you can make a donation at Patronicity.com/FishingLineTrail or send a check by mail to Noble Trails, PO Box 654, Rome City, IN, 46784.

Even with all the equipment and time donated to prepping the new section of trail, it is still estimated to cost more than $70,000 to pave this ½ mile stretch. Your safety on the trail is of utmost importance and this segment will get us all off of the road and onto the trail.

We encourage you to donate what you can and share this campaign with your friends and family. The Fishing Line Trail has been built solely with local donations and grants. Your help is needed now to complete this very important section of trail.

Coming Soon:

  • You can also join us for our first Bike & Hike event on September 25 from 11-1 to celebrate the opening of the trail through Kendallville (which was delayed by COVID-19). Stop by to see us at the IMPACT Marine Mechanics parking lot (221 N. Angling Road) before or after you use the trail and enjoy some free food and fun, and consider making a donation to the trail construction while you are there.

  • Soon, you will also be able to support the Fishing Line Trail by buying Noble Trails Swag online! Betty Lou’s Design and Graphics is in the process of setting up an online store where you can order custom-made merchandise.
